Trauma Psychotherapist
She, her
Hi! I am so glad you're here.
I believe in your innate ability to heal and I'd be honored to walk alongside you on your journey. I often hear my clients say they gain clarity, calmness, ease and a sense of peace by the end of our sessions. For over 11 years, I've seen long-lasting life outcomes with my clients, where they rediscover joy, self-love, pride and purpose for their lives. I offer therapy in English, Romanian, and Russian and I have a deep respect and appreciation for people of diverse cultural backgrounds.
In my sessions, my goal is to create a warm and safe space, helping my clients feel validated, understood, and empowered. My clinical experience and expertise have been highly effective in treating anxiety, depression, family conflict, codependency & relationship issues, parenting issues, women's issues, life transitions, loss and grief, traumatic experiences, daily stress, low self-esteem, and childhood trauma, physical trauma, sexual trauma, divorce and work conflict.
My work is rooted in evidence-based psychotherapy, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Solution-Focused Therapy, Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. When traditional talk therapy no longer works and my clients are open to a more innovative approach, I offer them a mind-body approach called Brainspotting. Founded by Dr. David Grand, this therapy is highly effective and uses the eye position to access, process, and clear out deep negative experiences and traumas.
Dr. Grand explained: "Brainspotting is a powerful, focused treatment method that works by identifying, processing and releasing core neurophysiological sources of emotional/body pain, trauma, dissociation and a variety of other challenging symptoms. There is no replacement for a mature, nurturing therapeutic presence and the ability to engage another suffering human in a safe and trusting relationship where they feel heard, accepted, and understood." If you're curious to find out more about this highly effective therapy, please ask me and I'd be happy to help. You can watch David Grand's video on Brainspotting on his website here: https://brainspotting.com/about-brainspotting/what-is-brainspotting/
If you're in North Carolina, I offer in-person therapy sessions in downtown Winston Salem and via telehealth across the entire state. I provide online therapy sessions to clients in South Carolina, my registration with the SC Board of Social Work Examiners: llr.sc.gov/TeleHealth/SocialWork.html
Your mental health matters. Whether you're ready to begin therapy or if you have a question about it, I hope you reach out for a free 15 minute consultation. I look forward to connecting with you!
